Audio-Visual Media Team

The A/V team is comprised of volunteers who work behind the scenes on Sunday mornings, and during special church events, to ensure the sound and visuals enhance the worship. In addition, this team is responsible for recording all worship services and making audio CD's and/or video DVD's available to individuals who request a copy of a service/event.

Main Sound Board
This volunteer position makes sure that the microphones are working before the service, and controls the volume and feedback for each mic during the service. He (or she) also queues and plays pre-recorded audio from CDs, as well as any audio feeds from the projection booth. This person ia also responsible for the mix that feeds into our recording PC that we then use for our radio and CD recordings.

Projector
This volunteer position controls the image that is projected on the main screen during the service. This may require the volunteer technician switch inputs from the PC, to DVD,and possibly other sources. He (or she) also operates the PC (typically Media Shout and/or PowerPoint).

CD/DVD Duplicator
This volunteer takes the CD/DVD masters and makes duplicates as needed.

Web Servers
After the service, this operator "rips" MP3 files containing compressed audio of the sermon from the CD masters, and uploads them to the website, so that they can be downloaded at your convenience.
